January 11, 2008, Newsletter Issue #98: The right screen to screen.

Tip of the Week

Imagine trying to watch one of today's summer blockbusters on an old TV. You'd miss the richness of the explosions. The vivid detail of the car chases. It's the same thing happens when you try watching broadband movies on a CRT (cathode Ray Tube) computer screen. So if you are serious about using your computer for broadband movies you should consider an LCD or plasma screen. Both LCD and plasma screens offer a higher picture quality and reduce glare. Plus, as an added bonus their flat design makes more space on the desk for the popcorn.
